Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Edwards Eye Care a leading provider of vision care products and services in Ahoskie.

Dr. Matthew S. Edwards

Dr. Matthew S. Edwards graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. He completed his undergraduate at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is excited to return to northeastern North Carolina and continue providing eye care to his community.

Dr. Matt enjoys playing golf as well as watching it and most all sports. He loves spending time with his furry best friend, Mattie-Girl. Matt and his wife, Nancy, were married in January 2017 in the middle of a historic blizzard.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina Optometric Association.

Tom Edwards

Meet Tom Edwards. He is our North Carolina Licensed Optician. Tom has been serving our profession since 1980.

Tom is a Murfreesboro native and is a very active member, and Deacon, of Meherrin Baptist Church. Tom is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife, Debbie, and his children and granddaughters in Raleigh.
